| 1st time mini artists Ages 5-6. Drawing and painting and cutting skills along with fine motor development are emphasized during this creative exploration. | |||
| Drawing and Painting. Students will work with multiple media to develop SKILLS with a variety of tools and techniques. Focus will be on Design Elements and Principles of Art | |||
| Parent and Child workshops. You together with your child and will learn to paint and draw either a still life or landscape. Age level of the younger student will determine media/acrylic etc. | |||
| Silk Painting: Learn simple silk painting techniques like to Paint a 8” x 54’ scarf | |||
| Mask Making: Both 2 and 3 dimensional masks will be created observing multiple cultures. This has potential to be a 2-week class depending on age group. | |||
| Collage/Mixed Media: While incorporating skills in drawing and painting, we will use hand- made papers and collected artifacts to create a masterpiece. | |||
| Multicultural arts and crafts: Folk art is inspired by a variety of cultural backgrounds. Experiences are offered in a variety of mediums. Knowledge of design elements and principles will be reinforced to complete projects while students explore artistic influences from multiple world cultures. |
